this group needs all the support it can get. catholics and other christians have been leaving the holy land in record numbers. some of the carvers came to my parish this past sunday...their work is beautiful. please consider supporting this group in any of the many ways they lay out on their site.

would love to post a link to cnn's comprehensive coverage...oh wait, it doesn't exist. foxnews once again picks up the slack in their coverage of this important event. my only complaint is there are no pics of my parents, aunt, and uncle!

never forget 9/11

this is the most moving documentary about 9/11, in my opinion. it really takes you back to that awful day. should be required viewing for liberals.

kudos to glenn beck for getting this story out there. of course, with the way the left is gunning for him, it is a distinct possibility that poor glenn may be silenced for spreading the truth.

march on washington

my parents are going to this with some of my other relatives....you know the msm aren't going to be covering it!

i am not going to bother introducing myself because if you are reading this you know me already. thank you for letting your sense of duty/loyalty to me, or your mild curiosity, or your boredom at work, lead you to this blog.

here's what happened. i was chatting on facebook with an old friend the other night. she is also a conservative, and she and i were having a great time discussing the news from a right perspective and swapping stories of left-wing-nut-job-atrocities of every stripe that of course have been buried by the msm. as it turned out, she had heard about important stories that i hadn't, and vice versa. my friend has one other conservative friend. i am lucky to have about 5. clearly we are few and far-between in the greater ny-metro area. i started thinking about how we could connect to each other. posting right-wing items on facebook only invites vitriol and scorn from our supposedly tolerant, open-minded "friends." a messageboard didn't feel like the right fit.

so i started this blog! i figure if we all work together and post the stuff we hear, we will all be better informed. it will also be a safe place for us to express our opinions. and everyone is free to invite all their right-leaning friends as well. there are more of us than we think. let's connect the red dots.
